Bio

The urban streets are alive with tales of life and death. It can be a rough world, but there is joy if you know how to find it. Witness up and coming Chicago talent, Alexander Ross. Known as A-Cross, this young and talented MC has a message that is real, positive and from the heart. A growing local and Internet fan base is discovering this fresh new voice. This artist has the writing skills, cadence, delivery and flow to appeal to an extensive audience. Inspiration for A-Cross' music comes from other prominent rappers like Jay-Z, Nas, Jadakiss, Biggie and Tupac, as well as dealing with some heavy life challenges. He’s been kicked out of his home and school, lost family members to drugs, disease and violence. Despite these losses, he is motivated to share his music with the masses. He treasures the lifelong support and inspiration from his mother, who taught him that life is too short to have any regrets. With the upcoming release of his debut album “The Passion of the Cross”, A-Cross is pursuing his dream to revitalize hip hop.
